Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, our blog returns from the depths of dormancy. Although the blog as been inactive we certainly haven't been.
One thing we have been getting our teeth stuck into is our always entertaining holiday camps. The most recent one being an action packed two weeks of Easter fun filled enjoyment. Even though we encountered a few April showers we didn't let it dampen our spirits as we enjoyed many thrilling tournaments such as Futsal, Badminton, Dodgeball and Basketball. As always a highlight of the camps was the kids vs coaches game of swampball. With the coaches taking the honours after a long period of drought and as they say 'you are only as good as your last game'.
If you are interested in your child participating in all this excitement then our next game is just around the corner.
Dates are as followed :
Tuesday 28th May - Friday 31st May
Venue : Tytherington High School - indoor and outdoor facilities
Ages 4-12

Our Prestbury School Of Football is still going strong and is still a bustling hub of the community on a Saturday morning. A real highlight is the ever exuberant Reception class who each session pass on their infectious enthusiasm to their teammates and coaches alike. This terms focus for all has been looking at defending the goal and winning the ball. It has been great to see all players adapt their thinking to how to prevent goals which is such an important part of the game.
In other news we have started a new netball session and it is off to a flourishing start. The session is catered for those new to netball and wanting to try the sport for the first time or players wanting to a enjoy more fun and relaxed environment. It's been brilliant to see everyone's confidence increasing week on week and the new friendships that are being created. All credit goes to coach Yaz who has created the environment where participants have gained the confidence and skills to shine and become better netballers.
For those interested in getting involved we run weekly sessions every Tuesday 4:30-5:30 at Tytherington High School and for more info contact Jordan on 07720 629 690.
To conclude we have some exciting announcements to reveal in the coming months so stay tuned!
